Oct 04, 2018 · MrCentralheating online is cheap as chips and do package deals on rads and valves, but do avoid B&Q / Screwfix as the Kudox rads are garbage. If you have an old boiler I'd not recommend flushing that tbh, but it will be full of crap too. That would be better dispersed by using chemicals, over time.

Boiler was in the granny flat and the flat worked OK, but to get central heating in the main house, I had to walk outside down a set of steps, and plug in

Sep 07, 2011 · I would have an external prv located on the pipework in a more suitable place. But as others have said, most manufacturer's state a lower pressure for the rating, usually 2.5 bar. Depends which boiler you stick in. I have seen the prv going in to the condense drain via a tundish before, I replaced one the other day.

Jun 24, 2004 · Combi boilers cope with heating much better than HW supply. That was a Vokera - and from the problems I've had finding someone who is up to servicing it - don't touch them. Go for a vaillant or worcester and buy the best you can afford. Don't expect it to last as long as a conventional one though, they have a lower life expectancy.
